Both Hands

Both Hands is a nonprofit organization dedicated to overcoming financial barriers to adoption by combining fundraising with serving widows in the community. Families in the adoption process can apply to host a Both Hands project, where they gather a group of volunteers to serve a local widow. That team also sends out fundraising letters to raise sponsorship for the service day with 100% of the funds raised going towards that family’s adoption costs while the widow receives free help around their home. Both Hands – One for the Widow. One for the Orphan. Over 1,200 families across 45 states have successfully completed projects, raising over $19 million for adoptions and orphan care. Both Hands operates without taking any administrative fees from donations, ensuring all funds directly support adoption efforts. Their mission is inspired by the biblical principle of caring for orphans and widows, aiming to bring children into forever families while also blessing widows with acts of service.
